Step into the hidden world of North Texas after dark! Explore glowing flowers, discover how pollinators see ultraviolet patterns, meet the fascinating insects and such that make up the prairie’s “night shift,” and observe live bugs at our blacklight station.

This free, family-friendly evening includes interactive exhibits, hands-on activities, and opportunities to contribute to community science while learning about our local ecosystems.

Volunteers are always welcome to help with setup, activities, nature interpretation, or moth observations, whether you can stay for the whole evening or just lend a hand for a while.
