Jess Reaka

Founder & Executive Director

A conservation biologist, environmental educator, & U.S. Army veteran, Jess is dedicated to helping people build meaningful connections with the natural world through education, ecological restoration, & community engagement.

With a Bachelor of Applied Science in Agricultural & Industrial Sciences focused on Natural Resource Management & Conservation Biology, Jess brings together science, civic leadership, & hands-on learning to create programs that inspire environmental stewardship. Their work spans native habitat restoration, pollinator conservation, citizen science, urban ecology, and environmental education.

Jess has served on multiple municipal advisory boards & is a Certified Texas Master Naturalist, partnering with local organizations to expand conservation opportunities & strengthen community resilience. Through workshops, restoration projects, & public programs, they strive to make conservation approachable, practical, & inclusive for people of all ages.

Jess believes that meaningful conservation begins with curiosity & grows through community, creating opportunities for people to learn, explore, & become lifelong stewards of the places they call home.
