DESCRIPTION:📣 EVENT RESCHEDULED \nDue to unforeseen circumstances\, this event has been rescheduled to Thursday\, June 18. \nTwilight Tuesday: Moths & Pollinators will now take place as part of: \nRebuilding the Village: Juneteenth Celebration & Nature After Dark \n📅 Thursday\, June 18\n⏰ 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM\n📍 12450 Elam Rd\, Balch Springs \nCommunity activities and environmental education begin at 6:00 PM\, with mothing activities beginning at sunset. \nWe apologize for any inconvenience and hope you’ll join us on Thursday for this special evening program. \n\nTwilight Tuesday: Meet the Night Shift \nWhen the sun goes down\, a hidden world comes alive. \nJoin us for an evening of discovery as we explore the fascinating creatures that emerge after dark. Using special lights and observation equipment\, we’ll attract and observe moths\, beetles\, lacewings\, and other nighttime visitors while learning about their roles in local ecosystems. \nParticipants will also have the opportunity to explore community science through iNaturalist\, helping document local biodiversity while developing a deeper appreciation for the often-overlooked creatures that share our community. \nWhether you’re a seasoned naturalist or simply curious about what happens after sunset\, Twilight Tuesday offers a chance to slow down\, observe\, and reconnect with the living world around us. \nAll ages welcome. Free to attend.
